My son wanted to wear these EVERY DAY. He was always asking for his "red shoes." In fact, even though he's outgrown them and they aren't in his shoe box anymore, he still sometimes asks, "Mom, where are my red shoes?" Guess I'm on the lookout for some more awesome red shoes.
Lucky for you, Geox are MADE TO LAST! They held up amazingly well for how often he wore them. They look like they've only just been broken in. They still have a lot of wear to give for one of MORE kids.

Sperry (Stride Rite) shoes - sz 7W ($4)
These shoes wear like iron! My son got tons of use out of them and they barely seem worn. Wow! Easy velcro closure with elastic underneath (elastic was cut to accommodate my son's fat feet, but that doesn't affect how the shoes fit or look, just makes them easier to get on). Sperry is a division of Stride Rite, so these shoes are well-made and a great deal! Size 7 wide.
